David Brown – The Afro & Dancehall Sensation

Let us introduce the incredible musical talent known as David Brown. Born as Boniface David, he is a versatile Afro and Dancehall singer. Notably, he arrived on a very special day, Christmas Day, December 25, 1996. Currently, he is taking the music industry by storm.

Although David was born in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, his family roots are elsewhere. In fact, he proudly hails from Akwa Ibom State. Specifically, he is from the town of Ikot Eba in Etinan. Furthermore, he represents his hometown in every lyric he writes.

The Beginning of a Musical Journey

To begin with, David officially started his professional music career in early 2013. Moreover, he did not waste any time. By 2014, he released his first official single titled “TOP UP.” Consequently, this track introduced his unique sound to the world and proved he was a talented hitmaker.

However, success did not stop there. Instead, David continued to work hard behind the scenes. For instance, he collaborated with many different Disk Jockeys (DJs) to refine his skills. Eventually, this dedication paid off. In 2021, he released his second major single titled “WEEKEND VIBES,” which showed his growth as an artist.

A Major Collaboration with Sugarboy

In 2022, David felt motivated to take his music around the globe. Because he wanted to reach a wider audience, he decided to team up with a heavy hitter. Therefore, he secured a top-notch collaboration with the Nigerian superstar Sugarboy. Sugarboy’s real name is Umoren Akanimoh Felix, and similarly, he is from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Together, they created a powerful song titled “LONG TIME.” As a result, the song was a massive success. Subsequently, David was invited for many interviews on different radio stations across Akwa Ibom State and even outside the region.

Signing with King & Queen Radio

Finally, David’s hard work caught international attention. On December 1, 2022, the popular and fast-rising superstar achieved a career milestone. Remarkably, he was very lucky to sign an international record deal.

Currently, he is officially signed to King & Queen Radio Brooklyn Station in New York. In addition, this deal gives him direct access to the Caribbean diaspora and listeners worldwide. We are proud to have him on our roster.
